The Te Awarua o Porirua Riparian Management Programme is about getting plants in the ground - 627,790 plants in the first five years. This high-profile, nationally recognised, project aims to restore the mauri (life force) of Te Awarua-o-Porirua (Porirua Harbour) and has the support of the Porirua City Council and the residents of the wider harbour catchment community.

We need to secure riparian plants from a minimum of three, and a maximum of five, suppliers to implement the Riparian Management Programme over the next five years.
