Oranga Tamariki are looking for to establish a Panel of up to four experienced 3rd party suppliers that we can engage with, on a project-by-project basis, to provide specialist technical support and professional services for Power BI in support of our current and future data insights and reporting needs.
This Panel must be able to provide the following:
1. Requirements definition, technical design, implementation, and support of Power BI reporting
2. Requirements definition, technical design, implementation, and support of data engineering processes including ETL.
3. Provide training to build capability within Oranga Tamariki to maintain and extend established reports
4. Consultancy services for Power BI.
Once the panel has been established, depending on the value or the complexity of future engagements, Oranga Tamariki will elect to either directly engage with a member of the panel for services or undertake some form of secondary procurement process with selected members of the panel.
We recently released on ROI to the market for a new Enterprise Data and Analytics Platform (EDAP). The scope of the EDAP ROI includes an analytics and visualization layer.
The EDAP programme may result in a long-term commitment to Power BI, or it being replaced with another analytics toolset.
In that event Oranga Tamariki would gradually transition from Power BI to the new platform, with panel service requests tapering off accordingly.
This ROI is the first step in this process with an RFP being issued to the short list of suppliers issued from this phase. You must participate in the ROI process to proceed to the next stage.
