The Office of the Clerk of the House of Representatives (the Office) wishes to identify a suitable supplier of online video publishing services to make parliamentary broadcasts available as video on demand (VOD) on the Parliament website. The Office is looking for a supplier who can demonstrate it has a robust technical solution to obtain the live broadcast feed, and the technical infrastructure, skills and experience to:
o reformat and edit broadcasts as ‘video-on-demand’ with closed captions
o add metadata to videos to enable them to be fully searchable, and
o publish the content to the new Parliament website.
The services will be required to be implemented and testing completed by mid-January 2017, with the VOD services available when the House sits in early February 2017.
This ROI is an invitation to suppliers with suitable experience, capacity and capability to submit a Registration to supply VOD services required by the Office. Shortlisted Respondent/s will be invited to submit a full proposal in response to a Request for Proposals.
