The Clerk of the House of Representatives will shortly approach the market to identify a supplier of services to make the proceedings of the House broadcast live on Parliament TV (PTV), available as video on demand on the Parliament website. The procurement approach will commence with an open Registration of Interest, from which shortlisted respondents will be invited to respond to a Request for Proposals.
The service requirements will include having a robust technical solution for accessing parliamentary broadcasts on PTV, reformatting and editing broadcasts as ‘video-on-demand’, adding meta data to videos to enable them to be fully searchable, and publishing content with closed captions. The services will be required from January 2017.
