Tenders are invited from suitably qualified Contractors for the Ōpōtiki District Council Pakihi Road Bridge.
The scope of works includes the construction of a new 35 metre single lane, single span Super Tee concrete bridge adjacent to the existing bridge and the removal of the existing bridge on completion.
The works are outlined on the drawings appended to the contract documents and generally comprise of the following activities:
• Construction of new abutments including gabion MSE walls and Rock Rip Rap protection works
• Supply and Installation of Super T bridge beams
• Granular pavement construction
• Bridge guardrail supply and installation.
• Demolition and removal of the existing bridge
Tender documents will be available for downloading from the GETS website, www.gets.govt.nz, from 12 February 2016. Hard copies may be obtained from Council Office Reception, a non-refundable document and handling fee of $250 will be charged. (This is not a tender deposit.)
