NZTE is the New Zealand government’s international business development agency. It works with around 4,000 New Zealand businesses through its network of 46 offices worldwide.
NZTE currently utilizes legacy ISDN services at a number of sites New Zealand and Australia, and is looking to transition to SIP services as a way to reduce infrastructure footprint, call and circuit costs.
Over the next 6 – 12 Months NZTE is also looking to consume Skype for Business Online with on-prem PSTN for NZ and AU calling. This is out of scope for this RFQ but a driver to migrate across to SIP.
The services to be provided under this RFQ:
• Provision of SIP trunk services in NZTEs Wellington and Auckland Data Centres.
• Transition services for the move from ISDN services to SIP services.
• Enhanced Call Management Features- for example, hunt group calling/IVR/Call Waiting/Call queue etc
• Mitigation of typical VOIP attacks such as denial of service capabilities.
