NZTE is the Government's international business development agency. Our purpose is to help New Zealand businesses grow bigger, better, faster in international markets. NZTE currently works with around 4,000 New Zealand businesses, and focuses intensively on around 700 of these businesses. See www.nzte.govt.nz.
NZTE is launching a new service to help New Zealand exporters (NZTE customers) increase their sales management capability and efficiency in converting international opportunities to sales, with the eventual outcome of making a measurable positive impact on New Zealand exporters’ international commercial outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a major NZTE initiative and work with a wide range of exciting export businesses. Lead providers will support New Zealand exporters to be better at selling their product and services, which will have a direct impact on New Zealand’s export growth and economy.
We are looking for 1 to 3 credible, internationally capable service provider(s) to carry out a catalysing service in New Zealand and key international markets to lift New Zealand exporters’ understanding and capability of sales management, through internationally proven methodologies, Best Practice, framework, and practical tools. The preferred provider(s) need to have a good track record in providing sales management training and consultancy services, international footprint, and internationally proven sales management best practice and methodology. The solution needs to be responsive and adaptable to meet NZTE customers' needs.
We are not looking for sales tactics training, such as pitching, storytelling, active listening or presentation skill training. We are seeking a solution that can significantly lift exporters’ sales management capability and make a measurable positive impact on exporters’ commercial outcome. This could include but not limited to capability assessment, and (or) training workshops that provide internationally proven sales management methodology, Best Practice, framework and tools. We are open to alternatives that can achieve the outcome we are looking for.
