This research project will identify initiatives to increase third-party revenue and provide an evidence base for setting regional private share targets that support an efficient and effective public transport system, maximise the private share of funding and reflect the value of public transport to the broader economy, communities and the environment. The objectives of this research study are fold:

1. Quantify the private and public benefits of public transport,
2. Identify initiatives to maximise third-party revenue,
3. Provide best practice guidance and implementation toolkit to enable increased third-party revenue
