Overview

The Whangarei to Auckland Corridor is a strategic investment target outlined in the GPS. It is also one of 15 projects in the Roads of National Significance programme (RoNS).

The Northland Corridor comprises four sections. The first section (Puhoi to Warkworth) was delivered in 2023. This project focuses on the remaining three sections from Warkworth to Whangārei.

NZTA is taking and an all of corridor approach to the delivery of the sections to consider how scale and innovation can be best brought to bare on the delivery of these sections.

We are exploring alternative funding, financing and delivery models including potential use of a PPP for the Corridor.

This Procurement seeks to engage Programme Management Support services to support NZTA’s client-side team to deliver this corridor.
