Subject to confirming required funding and all approvals, Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency intends to commence the procurement process, through a Request for Proposals, later this calendar year to procure two alliances for the design and construction of the new Ōtaki to North of Levin (Ō2NL) state highway (including a walking and cycling path). The Request for Proposals for the Ō2NL project will be separately advertised on GETS at a later date.
In preparation for this process, Waka Kotahi invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced individual companies or supplier consortia (designers and constructors looking to bid together as a prospective proponent for the Request for Proposals stage) in accordance with the requirements of the attached Expression of Interest (EOI) document.
The Ō2NL project is a partnership between Waka Kotahi, Muaūpoko and hapū of Ngāti Raukawa ki te Tonga. Further information on the project is provided in the attached EOI document.
Waka Kotahi reserves the right to withdraw from the procurement process at any time without notice, before entering into a Contract(s). If Waka Kotahi withdraws from the procurement process, then no EOI or RFP respondent shall have any claim for compensation or otherwise against Waka Kotahi.
