Waka Kotahi wishes to advise interested parties of its intention to go to market under a pure alliance delivery model for the design and construction of the Ngā Ūranga ki Pito-One (Ngauranga to Petone) section of Te Ara Tupua.
The project involves the construction of a 4.5km-long shared walking and cycling pathway and will include coastal reclamation along an operating rail line. It will need to achieve a ‘commended’ design (interim) and as-built (final) rating under the ISCA IS rating tool (V1.2).
Further information on the project is provided in the attached advanced noticed.
Through this advanced notice mechanism, Waka Kotahi is also seeking registration of interest from prequalified and experienced constructors and designers to deliver the project.
Consortia will require Waka Kotahi 3A and 4A pre-qualification levels and should also be KiwiRail Pre-Qualified.
This registration of interest involves submitting a single A4 page letter, in response to this advertisement, advising company / consortia and contact details. Submissions are to be uploaded to the GETS eTender box.
Suppliers should refer to the GETS website for instructions on uploading their response file (https://www.gets.govt.nz/SupplierUserTenderHelp.htm)
Final tendering of the contract will be by invitation to consortia registered through this advanced notice and the tenders will not be re-advertise publicly.
It is planned that the RFP will be released on GETS in mid- November 2020, but this is subject to change.
This advance notice will close at 4.00pm, 6 November 2020
