The Safe Network Programme is a collaborative initiative with the objective to save up to 160 deaths and serious injuries every year across New Zealand’s highest risk state highways and local roads. The $1.3–1.5 billion investment within the 2018-21 NLTP, signals the NZ Transport Agency’s commitment to making our roads safe.
The NZ Transport Agency is seeking to procure two consortia for the delivery of the professional services associated with the state highway component of the Safe Network Programme (SNP). Suppliers with the capability and capacity to deliver these services are invited to register their interest to participate in this procurement process. With the scale of work and nationwide coverage, it is expected that suppliers will need to form consortia to deliver the services.
An overarching contract will be established between the Transport Agency and each of the successful consortia, with work packages awarded for individual projects. The contract term will be three years with a possibility of extension subject to funding and programme.
The scope will vary for individual work packages, but could include:
• Detailed Business case
• Pre-implementation
• Implementation (MSQA)
A ROI submission must contain the following information:
a) Company name;
b) Company contact details including nominated representative;
c) Consortia name (if known); and
d) Companies included within Consortia (if known);
The ROI should be uploaded to the GETS eTender box which involves submitting a single file (pdf format) A4 page letter, in response to this advertisement. The GETS file upload limit is 50 MB. The file should be labelled as: ‘Contract No 2019360 ROI Safe Network Programme Professional Services’.

An industry briefing will be held at 9.30am, Friday 5th July 2019 at Karstens Conference Centre, 205 Queen Street, Level 4, Tower 1, Auckland.
Proponents are limited to three attendees per company and should confirm attendance to the Tender Secretary by 4pm Friday 28th June
