We wish to engage a construction supplier to upgrade the Otorohanga Fire Station with the goal to ensure that the Fire Station will meet operational and health and safety needs and ensure compliance with current building code and standards.

The plans, specifications and reports that form part of this RFP provide the detail on what’s required, below is an overview of the scope of works.
• Removal of existing appliance bay wall and roof structures and reconstruct with new steel portal framing over an extended footprint.
• Extensively renovate the existing ablutions area.
• Construct a new PPE locker room and recommissioning area.
• Replace existing electrical distribution board.
• Construct fire separation walls and installation of a fire alarm system.
• Improve access to meet accessibility requirements.
• Complete ground improvements and address settlement cracking.
