FENZ has undertaken a strategic assessment to clearly define and validate the need to invest in the uplift of our Payroll technology with a system that is modern, integrated and assures quality. The target system must position FENZ for the continued provision of services to its people and to the public.
Our system needs to be robust, configurable, easy to maintain and, above all, accurate and complete. In addition, the appropriate data must be available to other FENZ systems and be able to be transferred in a safe way. Payroll information must be secure and private and meet Government privacy and security guidelines and legislation.
Traditionally FENZ has found the counting, and subsequent licensing, of our volunteer community to be problematic for various software technology to accommodate.
Therefore, we encourage respondents to take this into consideration when proposing licensing models to FENZ for your products. We have included information on the user profiles of our volunteers to aid in this.
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to assist Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) to understand the licensing and ongoing costs of a new Payroll solution for our internal budgeting purposes.
Please note that this RFI excludes functionality other than Payroll.
