FENZ has undertaken a strategic assessment to clearly define and validate the need to invest in the uplift of our HRIS technology with a system that is modern, integrated and assures quality. The target systems must position FENZ for the continued provision of services to its people and to the public.
The replacement solution must be the source of truth for all people, positions and organisational information. The system must be robust, configurable, easy to maintain and, above all, accurate and complete. In addition, the appropriate data must be available to other FENZ systems and be able to be transferred in a safe way. HR information must be secure and private and meet Government privacy and security guidelines and legislation.
Traditionally FENZ has found the counting, and subsequent licensing, of our volunteer community to be problematic for various software technology to accommodate.
Therefore, we encourage respondents to take this into consideration when proposing licensing models to FENZ for your products. We have included information on the user profile of our volunteers to aid in this.
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to assist Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) in understanding the supply of, and with it, the licensing and ongoing costs of a new HRIS solution for our internal budgeting purposes.
Please note that this RFI excludes Payroll functionality.
