Overview

The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) is inviting submissions of ROIs for a project to upgrade two electrical substations at the RNZAF Base Auckland, Whenuapai.
In general, the project involves:
• Upgrade of a 11kV/400V 500 kVA transformer to 1,000 kVA, and upgrade of associated 400V cables
• Upgrade of two 400V switchboards (one 1600A, one 800A)
• Installation of several new 400V distribution cables
• Modifications to building distribution boards and circuits as needed for the new switchboards.
