The Government of Tokelau, with support of the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, invites registrations of interest to provide marine construction services on the atolls of Atafu and Nukunonu. Respondents shortlisted from this ROI process will be invited to participate in a subsequent Request for Tender (RFT). Services required include:
- Widening and deepening of existing reef passages;
- Installation of pre-cast concrete panels to line the widened passages;
- Modifying the existing wharf and ramp structures using poured in-situ concrete;
- Upgrades to the Nukunonu bridge by removing the existing deck and installing precast deck beams with poured in-situ concrete topping slab.
Interested parties must satisfy preconditions regarding commercial and operational capacity (Attachment 1) to be considered.
Note: Only Contractors able to assemble and manage the resources necessary to complete all works within a contract should submit a ROI response. Independent submissions from sub-contractors and suppliers not able to undertake the entire scope of works, will not be evaluated.
