Overview

New Plymouth District Council (the Buyer) is embarking upon a program to renew and upgrade its 3 waters infrastructure in the New Plymouth District. To achieve this we have budgeted over $80M for stormwater, water & wastewater reticulation renewals, upgrades and associated enabling works over the next 5 years. These projects will be the main focus of this tender. Additional to this we have budgeted for renewals and upgrades within our pump stations and treatment plants. Some of the more minor works within this budget may be delivered through this panel if the successful panellists have the required capability. To improve our infrastructure and achieve this vision, we need engineering construction partners to plan and construct these projects.

We are looking for engineering construction contractors to work collaboratively with the wider project team including Iwi/Hapū representatives, the NPDC 3 Waters Network team, the NPDC Transportation Network Management Team and our ECI consultant partners to assist with developing preliminary and detailed designs and construction of physical works on a number of different 3 waters projects, in a way that will progress us towards achieving councils vision. Scopes and/or business cases for projects currently underway that are expected to form the initial batch of projects covered under this contract are available on request. Any additional reports referenced in these documents can also be provided upon request.
