The purpose of this EOI process is to invite suitably experienced and resourced organisations to express their interest in providing Project Management Services for the Bay of Islands Hospital Main Contract Works.
The Northland District Health Board (NDHB) and Ngati Hine Health Trust (NHHT) are proposing to undertake a joint project to upgrade the Bay of Islands hospital site. The NDHB are going to undertake upgrade works to the main ward building and NHHT are proposing to build an Integrated Family Health Centre (IFHC). It has been agreed that there will be a single Project Manager engaged for both parts of the project. The projects will have separate architects, quantity surveyors and design consultants. The works for the NDHB scope include:
- Extension of Accident and Medical Centre
- Conversion part of the Community Services building for Outpatients
- Creation of Ambulance Bay & Ramp to A&M
- Addition of a new renal unit
