Nelson City Council is investing significantly in the city centre to boost its vitality and promote economic and cultural activities. This investment includes innovative public space designs, hosting engaging events, improving connectivity and infrastructure, and ensuring collaboration between Council and businesses.

Council seeks expressions of interest for the purchase and development of:
42 Rutherford Street
25 to 27 Bridge Street

Council seeks expressions of interest for the long-term lease and development of:
3 Halifax Street

Applicants are invited to express interest in individual sites. Council will also consider proposals from the same applicant across multiple sites or adjoining privately owned sites if it enhances city centre revitalisation.
