Nelson City Council has 89 parking meters across the Nelson CBD with two of those meters located at the Nelson Marina. The meters accept cash (coins within the CBD, and Coins/Notes at the Marina) as one of the methods of payment for parking. Cash accounts for approximately 40% of the revenue collected from parking. Nelson City Council seeks proposals for the collection, counting and banking of this cash.
