Earthworks and Road Re-alignment works Projects

Masterton District Council (MDC) invites Registrations of Interest (ROI) from qualified contractors with proven experience in civil earthworks, engineered fill, and road construction. MDC seeks to engage contractors for road realignment and earthworks projects on Tinui Valley Road, Mataikona Road, and Masterton Castlepoint Road, with an estimated total project value between $1.0 million and $1.5 million.

These projects are part of MDC's efforts to repair weather-related damage sustained in recent years and to restore service levels on key routes. The scope of work includes stream realignment, major cut-and-fill operations, drainage, and road construction.

Following the closure of the ROI period, MDC will provide construction plans and Request for Price (RFP) documents to contractors who have expressed interest. Site visits will also be arranged at that time. Contractors will have the opportunity to bid on one or more projects upon the issuance of the RFPs.

Pre-condition:
Respondents must be an approved Contractor, as defined by MDC Health and Safety Manual. The Contractors status as an Approved Contractor must be current over the duration of the Contract Term.
A respondent may become an Approved Contractor by registering through Sitewise and completing the prequalification assessment. If contractors are already certified with other providers (e.g. Totika etc.), they shall include certification with the ROI. A Sitewise prequalification guide is attached to this advertisement as Appendix A.
