The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) |Te Manatū Whakahiato Ora helps New Zealanders to be safe, strong, and independent through employment, income support, superannuation services, student allowances and loans, social housing assessments, funding of community service providers and social policy advice to government.


We are seeking responses from digital technology providers with experience, expertise and capability in delivering innovative learning solutions to enhance the employability and skills of New Zealanders to maximise job and career opportunities.

This RFI aims to explore ideas to enhance our existing digital learning programmes and identify new digital initiatives tailored to the needs of New Zealanders.

We are particularly interested in solutions that leverage technologies to create engaging, flexible, and accessible programmes. Solutions should address diverse learner needs, improve job readiness, and support long-term sustainable career progression.

The information gathered through this RFI will help MSD understand the supplier market, inform future programme development, and potentially guide procurement activities (if any).
