The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) helps New Zealanders to be safe, strong and independent. MSD currently provides upon application; hardship assistance for clients to purchase immediate and essential need items or services that would otherwise be inaccessible financially, in this case optical goods and services.
In 2014 The Ministry established a panel of preferred Optical Goods and Services suppliers who offered good national coverage, quality products and services at an affordable price.
We are now returning to market to offer the opportunity to be a preferred supplier to MSD once more.
This notice is to advise that MSD intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), seeking a panel of suppliers for the provision of optical goods and services.
The RFP and related information will be released on the Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS) website, www.gets.govt.nz
