The Ministry of Social Development, Te Manatū Whakahiato Ora, is approaching the market to determine and understand the opportunities and options available within the FMIS and associated services market for an "out-of-the-box" Software as a Service (SaaS) and Best-of-Breed/Best fit, FMIS ecosystem.
MSD would prefer the ecosystem to be delivered as a complete service but will consider other approaches. The chosen services and their suppliers will need to meet our current and future needs.
Initially MSD is looking for a fit for purpose FMIS Ecosystem that is SaaS and Best-of-Breed/Best fit and preferably delivered as a complete Service using an Aggregator Business model or equivalent.
The initial functions include: Procure to pay, Financial Management, Project Accounting and Capital Planning, Business Intelligence, Business Application interfaces, Service Aggregation and intergration
Long term where appropriate MSD would work very closely with the Aggregator/main provider to review all of pay related systems, then utilise and add to the FMIS ecosystem, where appropriate.
