The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) will be going to market for an Application Whitelisting System.
MSD intends to approach the market for an Application Whitelisting System using an Registration of Interest (ROI), followed by a Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
The key objective of this procurement process is to build on MSD’s current defences against the increasing threat of cyber-attacks, protecting MSD customers, users and systems.
The Application Whitelisting system will supplement the MSD’s current defences against Malware by preventing software which is not “known good” from running within the MSD environment.
The ROI will be released on GETS within the next 7 days containing System Requirements and five questions for the respondents to answer in their response. Responses will be due back in late January 2018.
