The Ministry of Social Development intends carrying out refurbishment of an existing residential home located in the Timaru region.
Expressions of interest from MAIN CONTRACTORS of suitable experience are sought to act as builder, and to co-ordinate the trades and services noted below. Parties are invited to register their interest to receive tender documents.
It is anticipated the tenders will be issued for pricing in January 2017, with works starting shortly after and completion mid year.
The works will include (but not be limited to) the following;
- Demolition and interior alterations
- Overlay all linings to all internal walls
- New floor coverings
- Electrical works
- Kitchen joinery
- Painting internal and external
- Replacement of plumbing items
- Window replacement
- Ventilation system modifications
- Roof replacement
- Garage repairs
- Bathroom and WC upgrades
- Other misc building works
