Overview

MSD is seeking proposals to be submitted that are aimed at supporting clients by quickly preparing, placing and maintaining them in suitable and sustainable employment. The Services will be delivered to clients for all Work and Income service delivery sites in the Southern Region and work with 247 participants per annum.

The Employment Placement Services outlined in this RFP are:
A. Employment Placement for Jobseekers (EP4JS) – clients receiving Jobseeker Support who have either Full time or Part Time work obligations
B. Employment Placement for Sole Parents (EP4SP) – clients receiving Sole Parent Support who have Part Time work obligations, and
C. Employment Placement for Health (EP4H) – clients with a Health Condition, Injury or Disability (HCID) who either have part time work obligations or who do not have work obligations but have agreed with MSD that they will participate in the service.

There are some differences between the services because of the characteristics and needs of the client groups and Providers should particularly note that the periods of service required, the details of the service, the reporting and payment regimes differ between the services.

The aim of Employment Placement Services is to prepare, place and maintain each individual participant in suitable and sustainable employment. Once employment is achieved both the client and employer will receive intensive post placement support for up to 62 days. During this time the Provider will support the needs of both the client and the employer, where appropriate, to create a sustainable employment environment.
