Overview

MSD is seeking proposals to be submitted aimed at supporting Working age beneficiaries into sustainable employment. This service should include both of the service components outlined below. Service participants will in general have been assessed by MSD as having a medium or high LLTBR (Likelihood of Long Term Benefit Receipt) rating and have obligations for work or work preparation.

MSD is seeking provision of these services to support participants in Waipukurau, Flaxmere, Hastings, Taradale, Napier, Te Wairoa, Gisborne and Ruatoria. We are seeking localised service for participants and wish to purchase services with premises in these locations or mobile services where clients will receive a localised individualised service. All participant referrals to the service must be from Work and Income, or have approval from Work and Income to participate.

Pre-employment
The aim of this component is that participants will overcome significant personal barriers and be ready to enter the labour market through the delivery of pre-employment activities that are targeted to the individual.

Placement and Support
The aim of this component is to support clients into employment or higher education that aligns with their work obligations. Participants will receive expert employment related advice that will successfully assist the participant into employment. Once employment is achieved both the participant and employer will receive intensive post placement support for a minimum of 182 days. During this time the Provider will support the needs of both the participant and the employer to create a sustainable employment environment.
