Overview
Community Finance is a microfinance initiative that aims to provide affordable credit to low income individuals and whānau who might otherwise take on unsustainable levels of debt and experience financial hardship. The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) (partnering with the Bank of New Zealand, Good Shepherd NZ and the Salvation Army) is seeking an evaluator to conduct an impact evaluation of the initiative. There are two parts to the evaluation. Part One is to prepare data so it can be transferred between agencies. Part Two is to conduct a pre and post-assessment. Both parts can be contracted for together or separately.
