Media Monitoring and Related Services - Updated Notice of Intent

This is to advise that the Ministry of Social Development will now be going out to market for Media Monitoring and related services in January 2016. The Request for Proposals will be listed on the Government Electronic Tender Services (GETS) website no earlier than 12 January 2016 and no later than 29 January 2016. The tender will be open on GETS for a minimum of 22 working days from the day of listing.

We are looking at acquiring media monitoring services with full coverage across national, regional, community and suburban media in the following five categories:
1. Print Media
2. Broadcast Media
3. Online Media
4. Social Media
5. Reporting, Evaluation and Analytical Services

The media monitoring services acquired through this tender process will result in a syndicated contract. Eligible government agencies will be able to participate in the contract. Suppliers may choose to respond to one, some or all of the above five categories.

We apologise for the delays that have incurred in this tender being put out to the market. In fairness to suppliers late-December would not be an ideal time to put this tender out to market given the Christmas holiday season and people taking leave over this period.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A NOTICE OF INFORMATION, THERE ARE NO ATTACHMENTS TO THIS NOTICE. ALL INFORMATION RELATING TO THE MEDIA MONITORING SERVICES TENDER WILL BE PUT UP ON THE GETS WEBSITE IN JANUARY 2016 WHEN WE GO TO OPEN MARKET TENDER.
