The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) seeks to engage a provider(s) to undertake delivery of Skills for Industry Services to Primary Sector in New Zealand from 1 September 2015 to 30 June 2016
This service will focus on providing industry specific training in primary services, employment placement and in work support for Work and Income:
• Agriculture
Dairy Farming,
• Aquaculture
Seafood Farming
• Horticulture
Arboriculture
Landscaping
The aim of Skills for Industry, Industry Partnership services is to take a demand-led approach, with the needs of industries and employers providing the starting point for their design and development. They are designed by industry for industry, to take a Work and Income job seeker straight to work, into an industry that needs them. Skills for Industry, Industry Partnership providers are expected to achieve 55 to 75% employment outcomes.
