The Children’s Action Plan is a government and community initiative to identify, support and protect vulnerable children. It rests on the belief that no single agency can protect vulnerable children and that government and non-government agencies must work together with a child-centred focus.
The Children’s Action Plan Directorate is charged with responsibility for implementing the Children’s Action Plan on behalf of the Vulnerable Children’s Board.
The Children’s Action Plan Directorate needs a supplier to develop orientation and capability building programmes for participants involved in each of the new and existing Children’s Teams and their children’s workforce communities.
It is important that the Children’s Team sites demonstrate a workforce that is competent and safe and is working together differently to respond to vulnerable children.
