Overview
The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) seeks to engage a provider to undertake delivery of Sole Parent Employment Services in the Whanganui area from July 2015 to June 2016.
The aim of Sole Parent Employment services is to provide employment support to Work and Income clients who have sole parent responsibilities, but seeking or returning to full- or part- time work is possible due to their youngest dependant being over 5 years of age.
This service will provide wrap around case management of the client, employment placement, employer support, including on-going support over a 12 month period, and assistance in overcoming barriers to work. Work and Income will remain responsible for the income support administration of the client.
