The Ministry for Pacific Peoples (MPP) seeks a provider to develop and deliver a Pacific Social Housing Training Programme to Pacific organisations to prepare them for registration as a Community Housing Provider (CHP). The training programme must align with the registration requirements to be a CHP as set out by the Community Housing and Regulatory Authority (CHRA). The training programme will need to prepare clients to meet CHRA’s prescribed requirements for registration, specifically addressing the following topic areas:
• Governance
• Management
• Financial viability
• Tenancy Management and
• Property and Asset management.
MPP has already identified the Pacific organisations to be part of the training programme. A preliminary assessment of their training needs has been completed. The successful provider must incorporate this information into the development of their training programme and its delivery.
