Advance Notice:
The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is seeking to appoint a service provider to partner with us to deliver the Wine Export Certification Service (WECS). The Wine Export Certification Service provides assessment of applications for export eligibility approval, and official assurances of New Zealand grape wine under the Wine Act 2003.

The Ministry is looking for providers with an excellent understanding of the New Zealand grape wine industry. Knowledge of wine varieties and styles is essential. The provider needs to have a proven track record in customer service and be able to react quickly to changes in service demand. They will need to develop effective networks and strong relationships within the industry, whilst maintaining the quality and integrity standards which underpin New Zealand’s export certification processes and official assurances to overseas markets.
