The Ministry of Justice requires a main building contractor to supply construction services as part of the replacement of chiller units at Manukau and North Shore District Courts. The Ministry seeks Registrations of Interest (ROI) from main building contractors with the capability and expertise to provide the required Services.
The Air Conditioning System of the North Shore and Manukau District Courts is powered by R22 Chiller units. The units are nearing their end of economic life period and needs to be upgraded. It is proposed to resolve these issues by upgrading the air-conditioning system, including replacement of the existing chiller units and associated works.
We do not require the main building contractor to procure the chiller units. The Ministry intends to place a provisional order for the chiller units as they have long lead items. The contractor will have overall responsibility for accepting the delivery, installation and commissioning of the chiller units, including responsibility during the defects liability period.
