The Ministry is seeking registrations of interest from suppliers of project services for a major tertiary hospital redevelopment in Dunedin city (the Project). This Project is considered to be the largest non-civil construction project ever to be undertaken in New Zealand and a key project in the New Zealand Healthcare Sector.
The types of project services the Ministry is seeking are listed in clause 1.3 of this document. For the avoidance of doubt the Ministry is not seeking, through this process, responses from the following consultants:
• Architects and Health Planners;
• Programme Directors; and
• Project Managers.
Separate procurement processes will be advertised in relation to these disciplines for this Project in due course.
The Project is currently following Treasury’s Better Business Case process. The Indicative Business Case (IBC) has been signed off by Government and the Detailed Business Case (DBC) is now underway.
