Overview

Meridian is in the process of reviewing the local service supply system at Aviemore hydro power station, with a view to upgrading and replacing the current system. As part of this upgrade, Meridian is interested in obtaining registrations of interest to supply a new diesel generator and associated fuel tank.

The primary purpose of the new diesel generator is to replace one of the current backup power supplies. In the event that the primary power supply fails, the generator will be required to run all essential station plant and equipment. However, there may also be periods where the generator will be run continuously as the primary supply.

The new diesel generator will be integrated into the overall local service supply system, and long-term reliability and performance will be key requirements, together with a responsive after-sales service.

The tender will be issued on Monday 23rd May to interested parties that have registered their details with the email address above. The tender period will be 3 weeks.

Tender documents will be issued using the Meridian 'Conject' Contract Management System.
