Block 8 - there is a mixture of electric heaters, radiator units and there is also a ducted air handling system in the main stage area. It is recommended to install heat pumps into classrooms where there is the old radiator system. Also, the air handling units are end of life and an option is to install 3x new heat pump units into the auditorium.
Block 12 - Central heating is used throughout the block. It was noted that it is weak and failing. It is recommended to replace the central heating unit with
heat pumps.
Block 13 - Heat pumps are installed throughout the block. It is noted that they are weak and failing with teachers advising that they are not able to control them. The heat pumps are either too hot or too cold and it is recommended to install 16x new heat pumps, four of which are to have controllers in dedicated rooms.
