The existing toilet block and locker area between the 2 classrooms is to be removed and a new breakout space with access to the 2 classrooms is to be formed.
Access from the 2 classrooms will be created out to a new covered area with accessible ramp and new steps formed.
Also in this new covered area, a new universal school bathroom (USB) will be constructed as well as 2 further toilet cubicles.
This tender has been completed.
Further information:
Following a meeting with the Winchester Rural School panel in which we evaluated the various responses to the ROI for Additions and Alterations to 2 Classrooms in Block 1, it was decided to accept the proposals from the following 3 contractors:
Timaru Construction Ltd
Henderson Building Ltd
David Fridd Building Ltd
These 3 firms will now be asked to submit a RFT
