History •
Aurora College is currently in the final planning stage of a site wide capital works redevelopment. Block D is not earmarked for future demolition following the capital works redevelopment AMS funds have been returned to the 5YA. A Lead Designer is required to prepare GETS quality drawings for a non-structural improvement to three teaching spaces in Block D. The scope of works is
(MoE room numbers given).
Open up beside two classrooms, through Block veneer to create two break out spaces.
Autex, carpet replacement and lighting replacement.
Painting to affected areas.
Carpet, lighting and Autex to rooms 12, 12a, 33, 34 (3 teaching spaces)
New high level windows
Create break out spaces.
Structural work to upgrade the NBS rating.
Fire alarms and emergency lighting to meet NZBC And Ministry Standards
Asbestos Removal to Ministry Standards.
