Water ingress has resulted in areas of advanced timber decay on samples taken during Destructive Testing under the Building Improvement Programme by Hampton Jones. The
Weather-tightness Remediation Inspection Report, prepared by QSpec Consultants Ltd, identifies weather-tightness failures that are causing Consequential Damage. This project
is to rectify the situation through replacement of roofing and cladding where required in the special needs classroom block C1, and the library block C2.
Removal and replacement of roof sheeting and cladding where required in the special needs classroom block C1, and in the library block C2. Re-pitching of
existing roofs will be necessary in some areas. Aluminium window joinery to be removed and replaced with new.
