The Contract Works required are reconfiguring of the Block 2 and 3 teaching spaces to create integrated learning environments this will involve demolition of some existing internal partitions and removal of floor coverings and wall/ceiling linings. New internal Aluminium sliding doors will provide separation of teaching spaces while offering the option for open spaces. Replacement external joinery is proposed along the North wall of Block 3 only. New acoustic wall and ceiling treatments will be provided along with new floor coverings.
A new sensory space in Block 3 will allow teaching staff to monitor students while in the space from surrounding teaching areas.
The Dental Clinic will provide a separate space for a Learning Support Coordinator. Removal of some internal partitions is proposed to open up the space and upgrading of internal decorations.
