The Ministry of Education (the Ministry) provides school transport assistance to help parents overcome barriers to education and meet their responsibility to get their children to school. The Ministry may provide transport assistance where distance and/or accessibility may be a barrier for students attending the closest school they can enrol at.

The current Daily and Technology Bus contracts expire on 31 December 2021. In accordance with the Government Procurement Rules, the Ministry is conducting an open, competitive procurement to establish new contracts for services from Term 1 of 2022.

This is a two tender approach. Tender 1 is now complete. This notice introduces the Tender 2 RFP. Please read the Request for Proposal (RFP) and related Appendices closely to ensure you understand the structure of this tender. If you or a related party has accepted the Ministry’s offer through Tender 1, you are not eligible to participate in Tender 2.
