The Ministry of Education (the Ministry) is inviting Proposals from Suppliers for the supply of each of project management, quantity surveyor and architectural consultancy services for construction work in Taranaki on behalf of the Building Improvement Programme (BIP), Earthquake Resilience Programme (EQR) and Service Delivery (SD) teams.
The Ministry is bundling a number of projects together to form one package of work at each school. It is envisaged that each project (weather-tightness, earthquake, 5YA and rationalisation) will be managed as one overall project. The Ministry therefore seeks to procure project management, quantity surveying and architectural consultants’ services for approximately 21 schools requiring construction work in the Taranaki Region (the Clusters). A schedule of the schools forming the Clusters and an overview of the required work is attached as Appendix A & B. The schools will be divided into clusters of around three to five schools taking into consideration the location of the schools and proximity to each other, the value and size of work at each school and the nature of the work required at each school.
