The purpose of this Advance Notice is to inform potential suppliers in the Hawke’s Bay/Tairāwhiti and Bay of Plenty/Waiariki regions of an upcoming tender relating to the Free and Healthy School Lunches Programme.
It is important that potential suppliers subscribe to notices to receive updates or information before the release of the tender.
Fifty-one schools that have been invited to participate in this roll-out:
» 25 schools are in the Hawke’s Bay/Tairāwhiti region
» 26 schools are in the Bay of Plenty/Waiariki region.
There will be an opportunity for interested suppliers to engage with the Ministry before the release of the tender. The Ministry is interested to get feedback from suppliers to inform the tender requirements and service delivery to achieve the best outcome. More information about these sessions will be released on GETS shortly.
It is intended that the first tender will be issued in June 2020 with the anticipated closing date for submissions in July 2020.
