Manawatu District Council are inviting tenders from suitably experienced contractors for the construction of the above project.

Tenderers are invited to tender for the construction of two sections of pathway that will form part of Te Araroa Walking Trail. The sites are located on Wilson Road and Ngaio Road, east of State Highway 1 near Ohakea Airforce Base.

Tenders close at 4.00pm on Thursday 28th September 2023. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:
• Site clearance and disposal offsite
• Cut to waste
• Earthworks to form the designed subgrade
• Construction of an aggregate walking trail
• Traffic management

Included in the above is the reinstatement of affected roads, berms, pavement, fencing and driveways within the site.
