The Crown is seeking Registrations of Interest from suppliers who have the capacity and capability to deliver one or more of three distinct but related components of a Mobile Tactical Command System (MTCS) capability.
1. Component 1 - Provision of a family of complementary military tactical radios, their ancillaries and all associated and necessary technical and other documentation and assistance to enable and facilitate the provision of the services included in component 2 and component 3 referred to below.
2. Component 2 - Design and Provision of a Tactical Radio Internet using the radios (mentioned in Component 1 above) and related services which includes, but is not limited to, carrying out the design, build, integration and testing of the Tactical radio network and the provision of technical support to Defence and Defence contractors in other Platform and System Design activities.
3. Component 3 - Physical integration services for the radios their ancillaries and other MTCS components (mentioned in Components 1 and 2 above) onto soldier, vehicle and command post platforms. This includes the undertaking and facilitation of the development, acquisition, delivery and introduction into service of physical equipment fits (in vehicles and on soldier) as part of the delivery of the MTCS which will operate in the overall Defence Information Environment.
