Overview
In June 2015 the Ministry of Defence sought responses to a second Request for Information to replace the NZDF's mine countermeasures and diving support vessel HMNZS Manawanui, and its hydrographic survey vessel HMNZS Resolution with a single Littoral Operations Support Capability able to maintain the capability sets delivered by both ships.
Following the release of the "Optimising New Zealand Industry Involvment in the New Zeaand Defence Sector" report which was made public on 22 October 2014, the Ministry of Defence advises that the following companies reponded to the second Littoral Operations Support Capability Request for Information.
